What's a system app?
I've received notifications on my Motion and Key2 LE that say "System app update available " and an "Install" bar below.
Install didn't work and the notification took me to system update but it says "up to date" .
What's this about?

Help - KeyOne usb port overheating and not charging
Hello Crackberry members
24 hours ago I noticed my KeyOne (2017, bought from indie seller on Amazon) was very hot after charging. I'm not very 'technical' so forgive any howlers in terminology
-Today none of my charging leads work
-More seriously, an unpleasant (ie bad electrical) smell comes from the KeyOne's charging port, along with instant heat.
-The phone's other functions appear to be working
-I've tried different charging leads in different electrical sockets (UK) to narrow down the source of the problem, including using this laptop's usb port (no charge or recognition of the device by the laptop)
I deduce it's the KeyOne's charging port at fault.
Suggestions welcomed. Is it possible to replace the KeyOne's charging port? No ability to charge or back up. Or is it the battery? Gulp

Email alert : how to configure an alert by an partial topic
I have a key2.
I wish create an alert that will light a special color LED when I receive email with a specific topic title.
I kkonw that the topic will contains these words "delivered by PSL".
But the problem that the topic email is more longer for exemple "the gift will be delivered by PSL".
I have created an alert (see picture below) with the words delivered by PSL but this alert didn't work because the email that I received has more words in topic.
Who could help me to configure the alert ? Must I use * or other symbol?

System UI has stopped
REALLY hoping someone can help. Out of nowhere my phone went to a blank screen with a message saying "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped". It's an endless loop of starting and restarting and i CANNOT get past this message.
#1 Has anyone had success resolving this without wiping the phone

New Google calendar not appearing in Hub+ Calendar list
I recently created a new calendar on my Google account to track due dates for assignments and exams. Under Accounts and Calendar Folders in Hub+ Calendar Settings, my Due Dates calendar is listed but is greyed out. How do I make it appear?

Q10 issues with blackberry link/backup/windows 10 - please help
I am really hoping someone can help as I am being driven mad. I am using a BB Q10 running 10.3.3.2137 and a laptop running windows 10. I have bought a new Q10 and would like to transfer all my contacts, calendar, messages etc to my new one from my old Q10, which I believe I can do using blackberry link. I previously have used blackberry blend to back up individual photos etc but it appears I cannot use this to back up the whole phone and transfer it all to a new one.
The problem is that when I run blackberry link it will not recognise my Q10 as connected. Windows detects it but it is labelled as disconnected in the BB link software. it will not allow me to remove this device and reconnect it. When I click remove it asks me to confirm and then it removes and immediately puts it back there in the window, labelling it 'disconnected' Ii have no problem connecting it to blackberry blend.
I have read some posts saying that link will not work on windows 10 and the solution is to delete and re-install it but I cannot delete link without also deleting BB blend and that will lose all the files that I already have stored in the BB blend software.
Does anyone know of a solution? I've been going round in circles for 3 hours now will no success. Is there any other simple way to transfer all the data from one Q10 phone to another?

BlackBerry World - Last Call?
I know there are a number of us still using BB10, but with the useability of the OS after December 31, 2019 being uncertain, I thought I'd take another look at BlackBerry World through the lens of my device's future off-line life.
Before they become unavailable, what are some apps that would still make my Z30 useful after I pull the SIM card?
I intend to use Password Keeper off-line. Also, Nightly Clock is good as it stays on and does not time out. And, of course, the calculator is very good.
What other apps should I grab?

Fix It Again, Or Get A BlackBerry Classic?
Back in July, my BlackBerry Passport was having notorious camera problems. 😵 It would not focus, it would distort, wobble without me physically wobbling it, and so forth. In August, I decided to buy a replacement camera and fixed it -- success! It worked and would focus like normal again! 😎 Until one month later, it started failing to focus. 😣 Not only that, the camera application sometimes refuses to start. Sometimes restarting the device gets it to open, but no focusing. I was not sure what to do, so I decided to continue using the BlackBerry Passport without a functional camera.
Coming December, I decided to come back to issue, but need to ask you guys some questions:
1. Has anybody ever had their camera replacement fail so soon? If so, did you fix it again? Or did you just give up on the BlackBerry Passport altogether?
2. Do BlackBerry Classics have such notorious camera problems like the BlackBerry Passport?
I must have a physical QWERTY phone as my daily driver with the SIM card in it. Therefore, do not make suggestions about using something else. Yes, it's true that I have other non-QWERTY smartphones, but their lack of physical keys is the reason why I do not use them for texts and calls.
